  1. Sounds like you’ve had a fun weekend, Suzanne. We’re heading to the hills tomorrow now I’ve finished work to check out the area my next book is set. We’re also staying with one my most treasured mentors so it will be fabulous.

  2. I’m out west, home tomorrow, then off again Thursday for two weeks. lol… Your photo looks so much like the ones I posted on my blog.

So where the bloody hell am I… freezzzing cold, and can’t wait to get back to the coast where I belong. 🙂 🙂

  3. Bron, glad you’re all safely in the UK. I do love the English habit of stripping off and sunbaking anywhere! Happy Easter to all of you and see you very soon 😀

  4. Vivienne, I didn’t realise you were in Australia visiting your mum! How did I miss that… Give her our regards and enjoy a surf for me 🙂

  5. Coolish and really wet in the South of France and the north of Spain this morning – beach trips strictly for homeless seagull. Hottish in the west of England (25 degrees) when we got here this afternoon. Narry a beach in sight, but lots of people sunbaking nonetheless!! Happy Easter Helene!

  6. Wow, that would be so nice to sit on a deserted beach and enjoy the sunshine. I’d bring a darn good book and probably fall asleep reading it! 🙂

  7. Quiet in Mum’s backyard (overlooks Fingal and Kingscliff) and in the pool. Had a lovely day at the Alley on Thursday before the crowds came down. Pics on my page. ; )

  8. Well hello to you all! Fleur, you WA’ers have such gorgeous beaches! Good to hear they’re being well used!

Sandy, Cath and Cathy, I can report there are a lot more people on the beach today! And it’s glorious dry season weather in NQ 🙂

Just had a lovely couple of hours feeding plants, trimming, chatting and loving being home!

  9. Quiet here, everyone seems to have headed north or off to lakes Entrance (which will be real fun, part of the South Gippsland Highway is closed due to subsidence—detour thru Morwell)

Our local shopping center is a good place to stay ways form. Huge IKEA sore having a sale plus frantic Easter Egg shoppers.

The eggs I understand, but flat pack furniture does not rev my jets 🙂

  10. I’m with Fleur – crowded beaches here too, although probably not as crowded here and there. Fantastic water all this week – really calm with perfect rolling waves, and not too cold. Not often does that happen at our beach! I hope all the tourists appreciate it 🙂

I can’t believe your beach is so empty, Helene.

    Happy Easter!

    Cath (on Sth Coast NSW)

  11. Ah, beach cricket – those were the days 🙂

We’ll probably take the boat out and go for a run, but I don’t fancy our chances of finding a mooring at any of the islands.
