A huge thank you is in order!

I’ve just had the most fabulous weekend down in Sydney with Capt G attending the Australian Romance Readers Award dinner at Cello’s restaurant.

It was fabulous catching up with readers and fellow writers for dinner on Saturday night. I was the ‘key note’ speaker which translated into ‘you’ll speak for a bit then we’ll launch into this fabulous skit written by the talented Shannon Stein!’ It was a lot of fun and I hope the audience enjoyed our take on Hawaii 5-0. And the best news of the weekend? Having HALF MOON BAY voted the Favourite Romantic Suspense Novel for 2013 and also Favourite Cover 2013! It’s wonderful to be able to acknowledge Ali Watts and the Penguin team for all their hard work. They deserve all the credit for the gorgeous cover and Ali’s editing helped shape HALF MOON BAY into a much tighter novel. I’ve loved working on SAFE HARBOUR with her as well and am delighted that I’ve been contracted to write another book for 2015!

Thanks to Debbie and Heather from ARRA who organised the dinner and the awards. It’s wonderful to have such champions of romance supporting writers.
