Time for a change

If you’re a regular visitor to my blog you may notice things have changed a little! I hope you like the new look. I’ve gone for something simple, something that allows me to share more of my photos – since we’re seeing so many wonderful out of the way places while we’re cruising it would be a shame not to showcase them 🙂

I have some areas still to tweak, but as our internet connection is via a wifi with the aerial up the mast we don’t always have good coverage. If you see something that’s not working then please use the contact form and let me know!

We’re anchored in Cape Cleveland tonight, just south of Townsville. Tomorrow we’ll make the short sail across to Magnetic Island. The air is lush and warm and it’s lovely to be back in North Queensland. It’s hard to believe we’ve been gone for three years – so much has happened in that time, so much has changed…

We’re looking forward to being in Cairns for four weeks, in between flitting off to Adelaide and Brisbane. It will be lovely to catch up with old friends and perhaps make some new ones in the sailing community.

I’ll leave you with the latest round of photos from the last couple of days.

And if you’d like to receive a notification when I  published a new blog then please use the link on the right to subscribe!

Graham was most impressed that he caught a fish on his ‘qantas’ lure until he realised it was a mackerel tuna…

  1. Love the new look too, Helene. And your photos are always gorgeous. Love looking at them. One day I’m going to be lucky enough as well to capture many sunrises and sunsets, for now I’ll live vicariously through yours. Hehe.

      • Aww, thanks Helene! They’ll start coming again next week when we fly out to Canada. Unfortunately they’ll only be taken with our mobile phones camera as we’re not taking the laptop to upload from our SLR.
